Supercomputer predicts final Premier League table after Arsenal hammered Sheffield United 6:0

Arsenal thrashed Sheffield United 6:0 in the Premier League

A supercomputer has predicted how the final Premier League table could look at the end of the season following Arsenal's record-breaking 6-0 win over Sheffield United.

A goal each from Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Martinelli, Kai Havertz, Declan Rice, and Ben White earned the Gunners yet another momentous win.

According to talkSPORT, the scoreline saw the north Londoners become the only English league team to win in three successive away games by five or more goals.

The victory has Mikel Arteta's charges sitting third with 61 points, just two points behind leaders Liverpool and one behind second-placed Manchester City.

Both City and Liverpool also registered victories in their respective fixtures, with the former edging rivals Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium.

Supercomputer predicts final EPL table

Bettinexpert's supercomputer, BETSiE has now run an algorithm to predict how the final EPL table could look.

The supercomputer simulated the season 100,000 times and took into account all match results from last season, pre-season results and the current season as it progresses.

According to the projections, Arsenal have been backed to beat Liverpool and City to the Premier League title.

The north Londoners are predicted to end the season with 85.9 points, while Liverpool are tipped to finish second with 85.8 points. Per the prediction, City will have to contend with a third-place finish with 84.3 points, with Aston Villa finishing ahead of Tottenham Hotspur and the Red Devils.

Elsewhere, Chelsea have been predicted to finish eighth with 55.3 points, with Luton, Burnley, and Sheffield United the three sides backed to get relegated.
