Man Utd close in on £44m deal for Scalvini
Manchester United are reportedly closing in on a £44million for Atalanta centre-back Giorgio Scalvini. According to Les Bons Conceil Du Sports, the Red Devils are ready to trigger Scalvini's release clause and are said to be in advanced negotiations with Atalanta over his signature.
The highly rated 20-year-old has also been linked with AC Milan, Juventus, Inter Milan and Real Madrid.
Chelsea to trigger Osimhen's £120m release clause
Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is reportedly keen to activate the £120million release clause that would pave the way for the club to sign Naopli striker Victor Osimhen.
According to the Chelsea Chronicle, the club are weighing up the possibility of a pre-contract agreement which could see the forward join the club in the summer. Osimhen signed a new deal with the Serie A champions last month but has continued to be linked with a move to England.
Man Utd interested in signing Provedel
According to Calciomercato, Manchester United are interested in Lazio's 29-year-old Italian goalkeeper, Ivan Provedel. Lazio are well off the pace in Serie A so potentially the Italians will be willing to sell in January and the Red Devils need cover for Onana while he is on AFCON duty.
Newcastle eye Santos
According to Ben Jacobs, Newcastle are interested in signing Chelsea star, Andrey Santos on loan. The midfieder is heading back to the club following an ill-fated loan move to Nottingham Forest.
Liverpool to battle Real Madrid for Mbappe.
According to reports, Liverpool are weighing up a pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe this year. Le Parisien claim that the Reds are ready to challenge Real Madrid for Mbappe's signature, although the La Liga giants remain the favourites.
