Opinion: Arteta is the problem at Arsenal

Why won't they call him a baby coach?

Arsenal won't sink because it wasn't fans worth. It will sink because those in charge (Edu and Arteta) of the team failed to recognize the danger of what was in its path and change its course. Many lessons to be learned from this truth.

Every team is targeting for an r trophy (Premier League or European trophies). The time given to Arteta is long overdue to see the way forward. I think is about time to tell him what we expect from him. Not our boys winning MOTM bamboo awards is the expectation. Arsenal is not a "Man of the Match" club, we want trophies. We deserve better.

Some people won't understand, and any responsible person will have to assess to know how things are going. As parents, you can't leave your child just like that without assessing his academic improvement. You can just insist he has a teacher so you're looking up to him alone to get the results. Before realizing your child is poor. The fact that you're not a teacher doesn't mean you can't assess your child. Fans need to assess the coach.

The Titanic even took approximately three years to complete its building. Under good four years wasting such amount on average players, still waiting to sign more of the same qualities and be calling it team building? I don't know if he wants to build an even jet in the team.

You came to the club because we thought Unai wasn't up to the task. Given you gargantuan money above all the clubs in Europe yet you can't beat Everton, Newcastle and less than 2 years of Unai at Aston Villa you can't beat them. Just yesterday (Forest with Turner, Elanga, Odoi ...) Nuno has managed to beat Newcastle and we're calling VAR on them.

Everybody knew Partey, Timber, Odegaard, Zinchenco, Jesus, Trossad, Kai, White and Raya before. Except for Ramsdale, all the players Arteta signed were not competitive players for the league trophies. Lokonga, Tavares, Vierra, Marquinhos, Pablo, Cedric, Kiwior, Tomiyasu (injury-prone), and Turner are all average players. With all these signings you can't beat Newcastle who signed your rejected Willock.

Unai hasn't signed a half amount of our spending and he is after us on the table like Usain Bolt, imagine. Just this Manchester United have beaten them and fans will say even big clubs get beaten. Yes, but in all they win (trophies) what they expect.

Last season it was team depth and also poor in his substitutions. We were better on the table last season with a comfortable lead yet our (key) players weren't enough (injured). This season we have enough on the team still we struggle to take the gap. When you compare you can see we were better last season within this same (Christmas) period but what happened? City won the league. So this season ding dong affairs on the table can't be hopeful.

Alexander Arnold was a total flop last season in his position. By then Arteta had integrated Zinchenco with LFB, LWB, and DM in the absence of Partey and he was better on the news. Klopp copied and adapted it for Arnold

In the national team now he can't be benched. You can't mention ten midfielders in the league without him though he is an RB.

Now he is the most holder of assists, he looks more dangerous moving 'forward' than any of our midfield or strikers. Klopp has capitalized on Arteta's tactical approach and he is reaping on what he copied but Arteta himself is conceding. Send the Zinchenco to the midfield and he can even play better than Kai. I'm a fan of Kai, scoring goals but what shows Zinchenco can't when he sets forward.

Zinchenco 🗣️ "You see, my job is making sure I process the ball set my boys forward, find spaces in the final third, and give them the ball. What they do with the ball is up to (them) they need to (finish). I know I've done my job"

But the coach is keeping this boy stand still at the LB. That position is where our opponents utilize to punish us mostly in a game. Those supporting (Arteta ) his versatility don't win this boy's trophies and those who are winning so why can't you change your style of playing? He is slowly getting confused and plays players in the wrong positions.

Arteta doesn't know what he is doing and doesn't also learn from his mistakes. Fans saw what Saliba could do but he insisted this boy should leave again. Hadn't fans noise on him he wouldn't have kept him (and used White) but now Saliba is the world's best defender. Arrogance is eating him up. Sometimes we should allow ourselves to complain rather than watch him doing what will help himself but not the fans. He shouldn't forget he plays in the stadium for fan's sake so we have the right to talk.

The fact that spending on Kai doesn't mean he should play ahead of people who could also be better. He has developed but what if the same game time is given to those out there? He is using him every... to cover his... There are better players on the bench that same game time can develop them.

Arsene Wenger will play the first team in the league and plays the academy boys in Europe (Europa League and CL), FA cups, and CS. People were even calling Arsenal "Academy boys" giving them a chance. Arteta hasn't recruited any academy boys permanently to boast of. See Kobbie Maino, Yamal and even a ball boy of Man City won MOTM in a tough CL game. Why can't he give them opportunities rather than signing here and there for average players?

For fans saying timber is coming, Tomiyasu is coming. So we should concede and lose points for how long until they come back? Do we wait on this premier League table for injured players to win trophies? Clubs are winning points as it's ongoing. Have you realized in Arsenal when you're injured for a longer period and return you can't be dependable anymore? Tomiyasu, Partey, and now Timber we are hoping for.

Our wingers do exhaust many ways playing all the competitions. They can't be playing this cup and that cup here and there. Fatigue is making these wingers weak in some games to perform unacceptably yet Arteta still reaping what Unai recruited but he doesn't want to recruit.

But we can be pretty confident when we realize that the wreak won't turn into dust or rust on the bottom in any foreseeable future. It is safe to say.
