We heard Wike demanded 25% of Rivers State Allocation while Fabura only offered 10% - Chetam Nwala Thierry Claims

According to a report, a crisis has arisen at the Rivers State House of Assembly, with speculations circulating about an expected impeachment procedure against Fubara following the expulsion of its chairman, Edison Ehie, on Monday.

Speaker Martin Amaewhule and other members of the House delivered an impeachment notice to Fubara before fleeing the Complex due to tear gas being released. Despite this, the state governor maintains that he has not committed any wrongdoing worthy of impeachment. There have also been persistent reports suggesting that he is having an affair with Nyesom Wike.

In response to these events, Chetam Nwala Thierry a lawyer, activist and Pan-Africanist stated that "Even if there was prior agreement regarding Fubara's election and so forth, it would be natural for me to revolt if you were preventing them from breathing."

Nwala said, "Let's examine what led up to this entire situation - we heard rumors that Nyesom Wike demanded 25% of Rivers State Allocation while Sim only offered 10%. Almost all commissioners and Chief Security Officer positions were appointed by him, this is what is happening in our state."
