Manchester United escaped an upset in their Champions League game on Tuesday night after they secured a narrow 1-0 win at the Old Trafford Stadium to bag an important three points. Harry Maguire and Andre Onana were the match heroes for the red devils as they did their part in ensuring the red devils didn't settle for a draw.
Harry Maguire has been impressive for Manchester United in their last three games but despite his recent form, i strongly believe benching him in the game against Man City will be the best decision Erik Ten Hag could make. Maguire doesn't have what it takes to withstand Man City's attack and leaving him with the responsibility of marking Erling Haaland is a task that he won't be able to handle. I think Jonny Evans or Lindelof should start in his place alongside Raphael Varane in the centre back, as they will be able to keep Erling Haaland at bay and prevent him from causing any threat.
