5 things to know about Victor Osimhen's alleged abduction case

The saga between Victor Osimhen and one Osita who claims to be in-law, has refused to go away. Find out all the details here.

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen was recently accused of forcefully abducting his sister from her husband's house with the aid of state agents.

One tweep, @ositaokolo on X (formerly Twitter), called out Victor Osimhen on the social media platform on Tuesday, October 10th.

He shared a video that has gone viral, where some policemen could be seen in front of a building, and some noise could be heard in the background.

In the video, a police car was parked in front of a building, with some men in uniform and a woman wearing a pink dress about to be ushered into the police vehicle.

In this article, Pulse Sports breaks down all the information regarding the alleged kidnap saga.

1. The saga is between Osimhen, his sister and her husband

The alleged kidnap saga is between one Osita Okolo, a sports businessman based in Houston, Texas, United States (according to his bio on X) and claims to be Victor Osimhen's brother inlaw.

Osita said he married Victor Osimhen's elder sister, Blessing. In 2019, Osimhen introduced Osita to football transfers and asked him to become his personal manager.

He accused the Napoli man of sending state security men (DSS) to forcefully adopt his sister from their home, after a fallout with Victor.

In the video Osita Okolo shared on X, an unidentified voice in the background could be heard shouting,

"They are carrying her oo, they are carrying her, see the way they are dragging her inside car, see them, see them."

However, Pulse Sports cannot independently verify the claims made in the video and those of Osita Okolo.

2. The case is in court

Mr Osita Okolo accused the DSS of 'going rogue' and that Victor Osimhen sent state agents to abduct his wife (Osimhen's sister) over a matter that was still in court.

While tagging some influential people on X, Osita Okolo said, "Official DSS has gone rogue. Victor Osimhen sends dsssng to forcefully abduct his sister (my wife) over a matter that is still in court between myself and him."

Pulse Sports have tried reaching out to both parties but has yet to receive any response from either side.

3. Osita's side of the story

Osita Okolo later shared his side of the story. He said, "all he asked for was a return of his commission."

However, all he got was the ill-treatment metted out to his wife by Victor Osimhen.

According to him, the fallout started when he helped Osimhen secure his transfer from Lille to Napoli and was he was paid part of his commission.

However, when Osimhen returned to Nigeria, he asked him to return the commission he was paid and that he would payback once he returned to Napoli - but he never honoured the agreement.

Osita added that Osimhen collected all the documents from him and terminated his contract as his personal manager because of a comment he made that didn't go down well with the Napoli striker.

"You are evil @victorosimhen9! All I asked for is "return my commission". You sent @OfficialDSSNG to beat, molest, slap and strip my wife naked on the street of Nigeria. You will pay for this," Osita tweeted on X.

In another update on X, Osita said his wife was brutalized and molested by men of the @OfficialDSSNG whilst in detention on the orders of Victor Osimhen9 and if anything should happen to her, Osimhen and the DSS should be held responsible.

Again, Pulse Sports can not independently verify all the claims and allegations made by Osita Okolo against Victor Osimhen.

4. Victor Osimhen is yet to comment on the issue

Despite all the noise and tension that the alleged kidnap video has generated on social media, Victor Osimhen has remained mute and has yet to comment on the matter.

The Napoli striker, who went off injured during Nigeria's 2-2 draw with Saudi Arabia, had to return to his Naples club side and did not feature in the Super Eagles' 3-2 triumph over Mozambique.

News from Napoli suggests that the Super Eagles frontman would spend about 4-6 weeks on the sidelines.

He will miss Napoli's home and away tie against Union Berlin in the Champions League and the League game against AC Milan.

5. Social media reacts

As expected, social media users flooded Osita's page with so many divergent views on the matter.

While fans of Victor Osimhen rushed to his defence, accusing Osita of trying to ruin Osimhen's career, others threw the 24-year-old Napoli striker under the bus.

However, some fans warned Osimhen to be careful with his family so they don't ruin him.
