Opinion: EPL Team Of the Week: Chelsea, Man Utd and Arsenal Players All Made the List.

The English Premier League once again thrilled us with some exciting football actions in the competition last week as we got to see some teams put up incredible performances just to secure all three important points from their respective matches. Topsides like Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea, and even recently-declined Manchester United were all able to secure very important victories from respective matches to improve their stance on the league table this season. Unfortunately, the same couldn't be said for the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool as they both dropped key points in the competition.

Well, in today's article, I will be sharing the Premier League team of the week consisting of the best players in the matchday eight of the competition. Let's take a look.

Goalkeeper: Jordan Pickford (Everton).

In goal definitely has to be Jordan Pickford who was unarguably one of the best-performed goalkeepers in the Premier League last week. The English International kept an important clean sheet for Everton in the competition after making three solid saves against Bournemouth.

Centre-Backs: Micky van de Ven (Tottenham) and William Saliba (Arsenal).

William Saliba kept Manchester City's Erling Haaland in the game as he delivered an impressive performance for Arsenal. The French International was very composed at the back and did really well to snuff any threat coming from Manchester City's attacking department. Micky van de Ven on the other hand scored the all-important goal which aided Tottenham's narrow 1-0 victory over Luton Town. The Dutch International was also very solid defensively in the game.

Full-Backs: Kieran Trippier (Newcastle United) and Solly March (Brighton).

Solly March had a brilliant outing for Brighton against Liverpool despite being used in a new position. The English International showed his brilliance in the right-back position as he created the all-important equalising goal for Brighton against Liverpool. Kieran Trippier on the other hand significantly contributed to Newcastle United's attacking plays in the competition as he provided an assist in the team's 2-2 draw against West Ham United.

Midfielders: Declan Rice (Arsenal), Scott McTominay (Man Utd), and Abdoulaye Doucouré (Everton).

Declan Rice was the engine in Arsenal's midfield against Man City as he made crucial ball wins and tackles to neutralize the attacking threat of the opposition. Scott McTominay came off the bench and scored two goals to aid Manchester United's unexpected 2-1 comeback victory over Brentford. Abdoulaye Doucouré on the other hand scored a goal in Everton's emphatic 3-0 win over Bournemouth.

Forwards: Raheem Sterling (Chelsea), Alexander Isak (Newcastle United) and Mohamed Salah (Liverpool).

Raheem Sterling played a key role in Chelsea's win over Burnley at the weekend. The English International netted a goal and made other important attacking contributions to help Chelsea win the game convincingly. Alexander Isak scored two brilliant goals for Newcastle United in their 2-2 draw against West Ham United. Mohamed Salah carried Liverpool on his back once again by scoring a brace in the team's 2:2 draw against Brighton
