Antony given HUGE pace downgrade on EA Sports FC, this is savage.

Antony's stats in EA Sports FC 24 have been revealed and the Manchester United winger's pace rating has taken a major hit.

Antony, who was signed by Erik ten Hag for a reported £82 million last summer, has struggled to settle in as first anticipated at Old Trafford. The Brazil international managed just four goals and two assists in 25 Premier League appearances.

And that has taken its toll on the 23-year-old's rating for EA Sports' new version of FIFA, who has been pegged down from an 82-rated card to an 81.

But it is the Brazilian's pace that has got fans talking, with Antony having been downgraded from 93 to 83 - a major decrease.

On the other hand, his shooting has gone up by two, his dribbling by one, his defence by seven and his physical by three. His passing, meanwhile, has gone down from 75 to 74.

Some fans may argue the rating is harsh considering much of Antony's campaign was hindered by injury.

But the winger will have to prove his new card wrong against Arsenal on Sunday, as Erik ten Hag looks to build on their 3-2 comeback over Nottingham Forest last weekend.

Last month, United legend Gary Neville insisted that Antony would need to "explode" this season if the Old Trafford club want to have a chance of winning the title.

Speaking after the Red Devils' opening day victory 1-0 victory over Wolves, Neville added that United challenging for the Premier League title this season is 'unrealistic.'

"There will be those that say Manchester United should be challenging for the title now," Neville told Sky Sports.

"But realistically, looking at where Arsenal is and how they have recruited this summer, and looking how established Manchester City are, I think it would be unrealistic and harsh to say Manchester United should be competing for the title.

"For that to happen, Antony would have to explode this season, Marcus Rashford would have to hit the same numbers, and Rasmus Hojlund, Mason Mount and Andre Onana would have to hit the ground straight away.

"That is difficult; Hojlund is young, Onana has taken the most pressurized job in English football - Manchester United goalkeeper.

"I still think third and a trophy would be a success, but I understand where the pressure comes from after their spending under Erik ten Hag."
