Chuba Akpom has scooped the Professional Football Association (PFA) Championship Players' Player of the Year award.
The Nigerian-born forward won the award at the 50th PFA Awards held at the Lowry Theatre.
Akpom was recognised for his exemplary performance for Middlesbrough last season.
The 28-year-old scored 28 goals to emerge top scorer in the Sky Bet Championship.
The striker has already secured a move to Eredivisie giants, Ajax.
Nigerian superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, performed at the award ceremony.
