Chelsea star N'Golo Kante to listen to Saudi offers amid Barcelona and Arsenal links

Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante is reportedly set to listen to offers from Saudi Arabia despite being linked with Barcelona and Arsenal.

Kante's current contract is set to expire in the summer and Barcelona and Arsenal have expressed interest in signing the 32-year-old on a free transfer.

The Frenchman almost signed a contract extension at Chelsea earlier this year and has publicly stated his desire to play a part in the club's new project under Mauricio Pochettino.

But according to new reports, a potential move to the lucrative Saudi league has not been ruled out and Kante is set to be presented with an official proposal, with Cristiano Ronaldo's club Al-Nassr interested along with champions Al-Ittihad.

Kante struggled with injury in 2022-23, making just nine appearances, but the World Cup winner is still considered one of the best midfielders of his generation.

Kante came to the Premier League in 2015 - joining Leicester City from French club Caen - and sensationally helped the Foxes win the Premier League title at odds of 5000/1.

That saw him earn a move to Chelsea a year later where he has won a second Premier League title as well as the FA Cup, Champions League, Europa League, Super Cup and Club World Cup.

He was crowned Premier League Player of the Season after just one campaign with Chelsea and in his second season was named the club's Player of the Year.

Kante was also named Champions League Midfielder of the Season for 2020-21 as the Blues became European champions under Thomas Tuchel.

He has registered a total of 269 appearances for Chelsea, scoring 13 goals and providing 16 assists in that time.
