Senator Shehu Sani has again aimed a dig at the outgoing administration of President Muhammadu Buhari for promises it made to the nation but failed to deliver them.
Some hours ago, the former lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the 8th National Assembly, took to his favourite social media platform, Twitter, to do a reminder of some of the failed promises.
His tweet read:
"A reminder of Some of the things we were told to expect before May 29th;
Air Nigeria
Abuja Light Rail
Kaduna Abuja road
AKK Gas pipeline
Crushing all terrorists
Improved Electricity
Kaduna-Kano Rail
Launching satellite to space."
The tweet expectedly generated a flurry of reactions from fellow Nigerians on the microblogging app. Many of those who reacted to it mocked the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led federal government for the failed promises with sarcastic comments. Some others expanded the list of failed promises by adding to it. While for others, the reminder was simply something to have a food laugh about.
