EPL: Erik Ten Hag tells Man United to get £87.9m striker instead of Osimhen, Kane

Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag has given the go ahead to the club's hierarchy to sign Benfica striker Goncalo Ramos.

Manchester United are looking to bring a top striker this June with Victor Osimhen of Napoli and Harry Kane of Tottenham also shortlisted.

Ramos has scored 24 goals in 36 appearances for Benfica this season and impressed at the World Cup in Qatar.

According to AS, the Red Devils have been showing strong interest in signing Ramos since after the World Cup and Ten Hag has now told them to go ahead with the move.

The report claims that the Portugal giants would be open to a deal for around €100 million (£87.9m) but Ramos is also being monitored by Real Madrid.
