Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has condemned the manner Vinicius Junior was treated during their 2-0 win over Athletic Bilbao on Sunday, January 22.
Addressing reporters after the match, Ancelotti claimed that fans, opposing players, and even referees "disrespect" Vinicius who was kicked around Madrid's victory.
The winger who completed the most dribbles during the match, was also fouled six times without his opposing full-back being booked.
Reacting to this, Ancelotti said;
"Vinicius is a great player and a very sensible person. The truth is everybody disrespects him. The rivals, the referees and the rival fans. We want more respect."
Real Madrid will now be preparing for a showdown with Atletico Madrid in a Copa del Rey match on Thursday, January 26.
