Super Eagles tackle Ronaldo's Portugal in friendly in November

The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has announced that the Super Eagles will take on A Seleção of Portugal in a friendly on Thursday, November 17.

The prestige friendly will take place at the Estádio José Alvalade in Lisbon.

The NFF and Federação Portuguesa de Futebol signed a formal agreement for the friendly on Thursday.

It will be the first meeting between Nigeria and Portugal at the senior level.

The game will see the Eagles line up against Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo and other top Portuguese Stars.

The Super Eagles are already billed to play 2019 African champions, the Desert Foxes of Algeria in a friendly in Oran on Tuesday, September 27.

The West Africans were last in action in June when they recorded victories against Sierra Leone and Sao and Principe in a 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
