Ex-Nigerian star Emenike reveals another touching revelation about late Keshi which has to do with money

Former Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike has explained how he offered late Stephen Keshi some cash willingly after signing an endorsement deal before the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

But the 33-year-old claimed that Stephen Keshi rejected the money he willingly offered him after Nigeria defeated Ethiopia to qualify for the 2014 global tournament.

Emenike who was the highest goal scorer at the 2013 African Nations Cup added that he has never paid any coach or coaches while playing for the national team.

''For me, I have never paid anyone in the national team and even when I did endorsement with Guinness, I tried to give Stephen Keshi out of the money which he rejected saying he don't need anything from me,'' Emenike explained according to owngoalnigeria.

This latest revelation comes after two former Super Eagles stars Chinedu Obasi and Taiye Taiwo accused late Stephen Keshi of involving in dirty deals when he was the coach.

However, the allegations came as a surprise for Emmanuel Emenike who claimed that some people even forced players on Stephen Keshi in the national team.

''I don't know where all these things are coming from, but remember that they brought players on Keshi and forced them on him,'' he explained.

Emenike played 37 games for the Super Eagles of Nigeria scoring 9 goals and six assists between 2011 and 2015.
