Manchester City star Raheem Sterling has made it clear that he would love to get Lionel Messi's shirt before he retires from football considering how he cherishes the Barcelona star.
Raheem Sterling has won many titles in his career and has also scored more than 100 goals which has been a glorious run for the England international.
He has been a blessing for Pep Guardiola's Manchester City side in which his pairing with the likes of Gabriel Jesus, Sergio Aguero has been wonderful.
Sterling was also part of the Citizens squad that won the last two Premier League titles under manager Pep Guardiola.
But according to the report on BBC, one thing Raheem Sterling would want to collect in his career is that of Lionel Messi's shirt.
Lionel Messi is one of the best footballers in the world going by his records winning six Ballon d'Or awards so far.
Sterling has exchanged many shirts with players while playing for Manchester United, but he holds that of Lionel Messi high.
"There's only one that I really want and that's a Messi shirt.
"When we played Barcelona I got a Neymar shirt. That was the first shirt I ever asked for.
"When I finish football and settle somewhere, I will hopefully have many shirts to choose from, pick my favourites and then I will do a room of trophies and football shirts,''. Sterling explained.
Meanwhile, Raheem Sterling and his teammates at Manchester City does not currently know when the Premier League season will return.
The season has been kept in the cooler since the threat of coronavirus became more disturbing to the world.
