Jordi Alba has signed a new long-term deal at Barcelona until the summer of 2024 on Monday, March 11, to extend his stay at Nou Camp.
A statement from the club's official website confirmed the Spanish defender has 18 months remaining in his current deal and has provided ten assists this campaign.
But after Monday's extension, the Spaniard will remain at the Blaugrana until he's 35 and his release clause has been increased from €150m to €500m.
Alba has featured in more than 250 games for Barcelona since arriving in 2012 from Valencia with his first renewal signed in 2015.
The pair of Juventus and Man United were said to be among the clubs interested in a possible move for the Spain international, who now looks set to retire at the Camp Nou.
