As much as men's football dominates sports entertainment, women have proved themselves equally worthy and have claimed their stake, writing their names down in the history books.
With the 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations (AWCON) which also acts as the African qualifiers to the forthcoming 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup, currently on going in Ghana, this report highlight female footballers, who are legends of the game.
