Super Eagles captain, William Troost-Ekong has revealed how his team will approach their international friendly tie with Russia in Moscow on Friday evening.
Speaking during a press event hosted by the Russian Football Union on Thursday, Troost-Ekong said the Super Eagles will approach the Russia game by combining different styles against the hosts.
The former Watford defender said:
"I don't know how much I can reveal our game plan, because the head coach is here.
"Tomorrow we will try to combine different styles - we have an understanding of how to act.
"We have been working with the coach only since the beginning of the year, and this match is a good chance to make our team stronger and continue progressing.
"There are new players in the squad - this is a great opportunity for them to show how they meet the expectations of the coaching staff."
Nigeria's last match was last Sunday against Jamaica in the 2025 Unity Cup.
Eric Chelle's side won the encounter, thanks to a 5-4 win via penalty shoot-out following a 2-2 draw in normal time.
