American actor and singer Tyrese Gibson has revealed that getting canceled was a blessing to him.
He made the disclosure in a post on his Instagram story.
Tyrese spoke while addressing the ongoing conversations around cancel culture, saying it only proves people are watching.

His words: "Cancel culture is the greatest gift. There would be no such thing as being canceled if they wasn't watching your every move. This is biblical. God will never give YOU something [Somebody else] is supposed to have."
He continued by encouraging others to stay focused:
"Keep flying, keep being a disruptor and keep elevating. Only those that are different change things."
Tyrese ended the post by listing some of his wins since being "canceled," adding, "I hope I get canceled again cause I've booked 35 movies, had 5 number one singles and 3 number one albums after it."
