Former Real Madrid midfielder and manager, Zinedine Zidane, has made his feelings clear about Barcelona youngster, Lamine Yamal.
Zidane said he has never seen anything like the 17-year-old, hailing his performance in Barcelona's UEFA Champions League defeat to Inter Milan in the semi finals.
Barcelona exited the competition in the hands of Inter Milan after a 7-6 aggregate loss.
Despite the Calalans' failure to progress in the competition, Yamal has been applauded by fans and pundits alike for his performances during the two-legged match earlier this month.
In an interview as quoted by MARCA, Zidane waxed lyrical about Yamal.
"When you see him play, for example, in the semi-finals against Inter... I've never seen anything like that in my life.
"He's someone who has so much control on the pitch... It's fabulous to see him like that. We all have fun with him and that's why, for all the young players, Lamine is the player to look at," he said.
Yamal has shocked many with his display for Barcelona this season.
The youngster has scored 18 goals and made 25 assists in 55 games across competitions.
The Spain international is a contender for the 2025 Ballon d'Or.
