Businessman Gaius Chibueze, also known as the 'Bitcoin Chief,' has shared an update about Mmesoma Ejikeme, the Anambra State student embrolied in the 2023 UTME result controversy.
Notably, Mmesoma Ejikeme made headlines in 2023 amid allegations of falsifying her United Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) score, following an investigation that confirmed the discrepancies.
Amid the controversy, Gaius Chibueze placed Mmesoma Ejikeme on a scholarship, prompting widespread acclaim.
In a recent Facebook post, Gaius Chibueze stated that the update about Mmesoma Ejikeme stems from inquiries about her whereabouts, amid result glitches in the recently conducted UTME examinations.
According to Gaius Chibueze, he provided Mmesoma Ejikeme with a N30,000 monthly allowance for eight months, covering her international passport costs and logistics.
Although, she received an admission offer from a university in Texas, her US visa application was denied.
Despite the US visa denial, Mmesoma Ejikeme applied to a Canadian school, completed the IELTS, but was not offered admission.
Furthermore, he supported her father with a million naira donation for his music business and assisted her mother with financial difficulties on several occasions.
Afterwards, he bought her a laptop, paid for coding lessons, provided startup capital for her business, and bought her another phone.
With these resources, she generated a profit of $3,000, which was used to open a shop for her mother.
Gaius Chibueze revealed that in December 2024, he visited Mmesoma Ejikeme and her family, gifting them presents that were met with heartfelt gratitude for his unwavering support.
The prominent entrepreneur substantiated his claim with compelling evidence, confirming Mmesoma Ejikeme's residence with her family in Topland, Enugu State.
