Sarah Martins lashes out at critics after declaring love for Verydarkman

Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has responded to backlash over her public expression of love for social media activist Verydarkman.

Recall that after Verydarkman's release, Sarah took to Instagram to welcome him back, saying his return made her night better.

Referring to him as her "sweet husband," she professed her love for him.

However, her post sparked criticism from social media users who harshly mocked her.

In response, Sarah defended herself on Instagram, pointing out that she and Verydarkman share the same last name.

She added that, in her heart, they are already married and asked critics to let them be.

"I see all the hate comments on Instablog concerning my undying love for my Prince Charming VDM.
In case you haven't noticed, I have his last name "Martins", Sarah Martins... Vincent Martins. We are officially married in my heart. If you can't wish us well, pls leave us alone.

It's 2am and I'm still awake thinking of my baby.
Y'all, he's mine, period," her words read.
