'Victor made me a promise' - Osimhen's agent opens up on rumours about Saudi Arabia move

George Gardi, Victor Osimhen's agent, has responded to increasing speculation about a potential transfer to Saudi Arabia.

Since joining on loan and leading Galatasaray to the Turkish title, the Super Eagles have been the shining star for the club.

His performance has put him on the map, with top teams in Europe looking to sign him in the summer transfer window.

Osimhen has been linked with a move this season, with the latest being the Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal, according to reports in Turkey.

Gardi has spoken about Osimhen's Saudi Arabia move and also insisted that he will decide his next destination at the end of the current season.

He told Türkiye's Milliyet, "These claims are completely baseless. Victor made me a promise when he joined Galatasaray.

"He wouldn't sign with any club before the season ends. And indeed, despite receiving lucrative offers, he kept his word.

"Besides, with a player like Victor, something like 'taking him somewhere' is out of the question. The biggest clubs in the world want him; he doesn't need anyone to carve his own path."

The 26-year-old footballer scored 29 goals and had six assists for Galatasaray this season, attracting the attention of top European clubs.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Juventus are all reportedly interested in the Nigerian international.
