Dr. Daniel Olukoya, the General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), has warned individuals who often dream of returning to their villages or ancestral homes.
In a recent YouTube video, the esteemed minister highlighted the spiritual significance of these dreams and the critical need for intense prayer.
Dr. Olukoya connected one's dream experiences to foundational and ancestral influences, explaining that these factors can profoundly affect a person's subconscious.
He stated that dreams involving a return to one's village or birthplace are not random occurrences but may be linked to deep-seated spiritual issues related to one's family history.
"If you frequently dream of going back to your birthplace, you need to pray earnestly," Dr. Olukoya urged.
He also mentioned that ancestral customs, such as masquerading and other traditional rituals, can leave spiritual marks that may affect descendants, even if they have never participated in those practices.
To address these spiritual challenges, Dr. Olukoya encouraged believers to engage in focused prayers for deliverance. He led his audience in a strong declaration: "My foundation, hear the word of the Lord: receive deliverance by fire, in the name of Jesus!"
He wrapped up by calling on Christians to remain alert in prayer, especially in response to recurring dreams that indicate foundational spiritual obstacles.
He emphasized that such vigilance is essential for breaking free from ancestral bonds that could impede progress and spiritual development, urging believers to confront their spiritual roots and seek divine help through devoted and persistent prayer.
