Sir Alex Ferguson names team he doesn't want to see

Manchester United legend Sir Alex Ferguson has named the team he does not want to see win the league this season.

In England, there is tense top-flight title race between Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal with just 10 Premier League fixtures remaining this term.

Real Madrid currently sits top of the table in Spain while Paris Saint-Germain is leading the way in France and Inter Milan are the leaders in Italy's Serie A.

The Bundesliga may see a surprise champion with Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen currently 10 points ahead of second-placed Bayern Munich in Germany.

Ferguson is keen to see Thomas Tuchel's side miss out on the top-flight title in Germany as he told the Eintracht Frankfurt website: 'I always hope to see the underdog win.

'Bayern fans may not agree with that, but like all the neutral fans in Germany, I really hope to see someone else win the league again.'

Ferguson has also made a bold prediction for Euro 2024 this summer, joking that hosts Germany have 'no chance' of beating his beloved Scotland in their opener.

'No chance (laughs),' he added. 'I'm going to see that game live. I must see it.

'Scotland are not that bad, you know. They have good midfielders, two good fullbacks.

'Only the striker position has been difficult in the last few years. The Scottish fans are going to be fantastic.'
