According to a report. The state of Oyo's government has issued a warning to its citizens not to fall for the scammers' antics, as they invite them to apply on social media for the N20,000 Ramadan Support Fund, which is purportedly approved by Governor Seyi Makinde.
The Oyo State Government categorically refuted claims that it has not authorized any such package for the people in a statement released on Thursday in Ibadan. as it issued a warning to the state's citizens to be suspicious of anyone making such a claim.
Makinde's media assistant, Mr. Sulaimon Olanrewaju, signed the statement.
In the statement, Olanrewaju claimed that the story was false and that it did not originate from any state government agency.
Olanrewaju emphasized that the information did not come from the Oyo State administration and that there was no ongoing N20,000 Ramadan Support Fund.
