Hamas Announces Death of Israeli Hostages in Gaza

The Palestinian militant group Hamas made public a video on Monday reporting the tragic deaths of two Israeli hostages who had been seized and transported to Gaza on October 7.

Channels TV reports that within the video, a woman hostage identified in Israeli media as Noa Argamani, aged 26, was shown speaking under duress, disclosing that the two men she had been held captive with had lost their lives during their captivity. The exact timing of the video's recording was not specified.

Accompanying the video was a statement from Hamas's armed wing, the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, attributing the deaths of the two men to the Zionist army's bombing.

A previous video released by Hamas on Sunday featured Argamani alongside the two men hostages, who appeared to be alive. However, these same men were declared deceased in Monday's video.

The two men have been identified by Israeli media as Yossi Sharabi, aged 53, and Itay Svirsky, aged 38. This tragic development has heightened tensions in the region, prompting widespread concern and calls for action to address the escalating conflict.
