A Nigerian doctor has cried out for help after a junior doctor who was almost killed, was allegedly forced back to work by the Managing Director of the hospital she's carrying out her NYSC assignment.

According to @enodamade, the junior doctor was attacked in the accommodation given to her by St Theresa's Hospital Use Abat, Ibiono Ibom,Akwa Ibom. He further stated that the doctor was forced back to work on the second day after the attack.

He tweeted;

"My hands are shaking as I type this. I almost lost a dear Junior doctor to the cold hands of death in her NYSC PPA. She was attacked in the accommodation given to her by St Theresa's Hospital Use Abat, Ibiono Ibom. Akwa Ibom. After the assailant tried to k*ll her, the MD of the hospital forced her to work on the second day. Look at the pictures. See her neck! And an MD who swore an oath to protect a junior colleague asked her to work on the day after the attack! I am gutted!
