I Do Not Want This To Escalate To A Tribal Point Where Ijaws Will Be Against Ikwerres & Igbos -Asari

A prominent traditional ruler in Kalabari Kingdom, Asari Dokubo has reacted to the demolition of the Rivers State House of Assembly by the Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara. He stated that Fubara being an Ijaw man should be wary of not stimulating an ethnic crisis in Rivers State. He contended that Fubara has brought down a pride asset of Rivers State people in demolishing the State House of Assembly building.

He said in a live video on his official Facebook handle, ''Don't support Evil, let us not support Evil. In as much as I believe that as an Ijaw man, the majority of you are supporting Sim because he's an Ijaw man. But Ijaw stands for truth. Don't support what is not true. In monitoring Rivers State, he has overreached himself. The Rivers State House of Assembly, the bringing down of that edifice. That pride asset of Rivers people, he had overreached himself. And it is wrong. This is wrong. We must all work together for the safety and the good of Rivers people. I do not want this to escalate to a tribal point where Ijaws will be against Ikwerres, the Igbos and the Ogonis. I do not believe in this.''
