Chelsea hosted Brighton & Hove Albion at the Stamford Bridge Stadium in the English Premier League today in what was expected to be an intense game for both teams. The Blues returned to winning ways in the competition as they performed brilliantly to secure a narrow 3-2 victory over Brighton thanks to goals from Enzo Fernandes (brace) and Levi Colwill. Despite being a man down in this encounter, the Blues held on to their advantage and made sure they bagged all three important points against Brighton.
Well, despite Chelsea's victory in today's match, I will be sharing three of their worst players on the pitch against Brighton & Hove Albion. Let's take a look.
1, Raheem Sterling
Raheem Sterling had one of his worst performances of the season in today's match for Chelsea. The English International was so blunt and toothless in this encounter as he struggled to make a significant impact on Chelsea's attacking performance against Brighton. The 28-year-old got subbed off in the second half of the game after he failed to put in a good performance for the Blues.
2, Conor Gallagher.
Conor Gallagher would have been one player to take most of the blame if Chelsea had lost this game against Brighton. The English International made some reckless tackles in the game which got him sent off in the first period for Chelsea.
3, Nicolas Jackson.
It was yet another awful performance from Nicolas Jackson in this encounter against Brighton. The Senegalese International was an obvious weak link the Chelsea's attack as he posed almost no threat at the opposition's defense line.
