The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) world-wide, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has called on Nigerians to get connected to God, so that, the nation will experience accelerated progress.

He made this call during the monthly thanksgiving service held at the RCCG headquarters, Throne of Grace, Ebute-metta, where he ministered on the theme: "Divine Acceleration."
Adeboye who described the opposite of accelerated promotion as accelerated demotion said, it is time for Nigerians to experience a shift from constant struggling to living a prosperous life.
"Nigerians should humble themselves like the failed fisherman in the bible who after toiling throughout the night caught nothing, humbly obeyed the instruction of Master Jesus to launch into the deep and caught so much fishes to the point that the net started to break.
"Nigerians should also learn about humility from King Nebuchadnezzar who was warned and for refusal to heed the warning of putting himself in the place of the Almighty God to be worshipped, became an animal and had to eat grass in the forest for seven years, which tantamount to accelerated demotion," he said.
Nigerians as well as the nation can experience accelerated promotion if the people can humble themselves, cooperate with God and appreciate the greatest sacrifice for mankind, which was the gift of His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, who took our place on the cruel cross and believe.
Also speaking at the event, the Parish Pastor, Throne of Grace, Adebayo Adeyemo, said if Nigerians can trust God and align to His will, the nation will experience accelerated promotion.
He added that if Nigerians can give this administration a chance, just as the naira has started to appreciate, so would every challenge mitigating the progress of the nation will be subdued and the economy will pick up again.
