The Special Assistant to the President on Special Duties and Domestic Affairs, Toyin Subaru, has provided assurance to Nigerians that the upcoming rollout of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses will lead to a reduction in CNG prices, bringing it down to N230 per kg.

This development aligns with the government's plan to introduce 11,500 gas-powered buses across the nation next week, aiming to alleviate current transportation challenges.

Subaru emphasized that this initiative would result in significant cost savings for Nigerians, reducing transportation expenses by two-thirds, while also encouraging the use of CNG as a petrol alternative.

Nonetheless, the news headline prompted various reactions from social media users when shared by Punch on Facebook. Many individuals expressed their opinions in the comments section.
