Nigerian LGBTQ+ activist ties the knot with American policy advisor and politician

On the evening of October 9, in New York City, Nigerian LGBTQ+ rights activist Michael Ighodaro joined in matrimony with his Armenian American partner, Jirair Ratevosian.

The wedding ceremony brought together notable attendees, including fellow Nigerian LGBTQ+ rights activists Edafe Okporo and Jide Macaulay. Notably, Jirair is a Democratic candidate running in the 2024 California's 30th congressional district election.

The couple had previously announced their engagement in the preceding year.
