Expensive phone saga: Police will need to withdraw their profiling of Nigerian youths - Skitmaker Mr. Macaroni replies police PRO, Olumuyiwa Adejobi

Skitmaker, Mr. Macaroni, has kicked against the response of the spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, in the "expensive phone saga."

Recall that Adejobi had shared a photo of DSP David Victoria, the secretary to the IGP, on X, and some Nigerians were quick to notice the expensive phone she was holding.

They immediately pointed that she shouldn't be able to afford the phone with her salary as a police woman and went on to accuse her of being involved in illicit activities to be able to buy such luxury.

Adejobi spotted a comment and asked the X user to withdraw his statement. He argued that police officers are not paupers.

"Police officers are not paupers. Withdraw your statement. It's ridiculous to us to say a DSP can't use Samsung fold 2.... you need to reason straight and be objective. Do you know what it is to be a DSP?'' he responded

Reacting to Adejobi's comment, Mr Macaroni stated that police officers also need to withdraw every statement they have made profiling Nigerian youths they see using expensive items and tagging them as fraudsters.
