Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti said Inter Miami star Lionel Messi is not the greatest player of all-time while revealing his top 3 of the best players ever.
The GOAT debate has always generated tension amid football fans as the discussions are centered on Messi and Ronaldo.
The Argentinean and the Portuguese all made their time and as CR7 said few weeks ago, the rivalry is over.
But even before Ronaldo's move to Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia and Messi's to Inter Miami in the Major Soccer League, Ancelotti named none of them in his Top 3 of the best players in history.
"Messi the best in history? He's a great player but I can't say who's been the best", the Italian gaffer replied during a press conference after Messi lifted the World Cup trophy in 2022.
"There have been so many wonderful players... Maradona, Di Stéfano, Cruyff.. I don't know."
