While speaking to the Punch Newspaper during an interview, the rapper said, "Football declined in Nigeria. I think the culture died because of a lack of sponsorship; the stadiums degenerated, and the clubs were not well funded. A couple of years ago, we started a project called 12th Man for Rangers. I remember going to the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium to perform free shows at halftime and give back to the same team we supported as kids. I have stickers and posters of players like Okala and Chukwu on my wall next to all my rap icons. The culture just died; cable TV just came and sold the foreign leagues to us. Even as a child, I used to watch Serie A, the Bundesliga, the Spanish League, the Scottish League, and the English League. It just blew up with lots of money and got all the attention."
