Real reason for frosty relationship between Ronaldo's mother, girlfriend Georgina revealed

Portuguese journalist Adriano Silva Martins has revealed why Cristiano Ronaldo's girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, and the superstar's mother, Dolores Aveiro, share a cold relationship.

Martins said that their face-off started after the Argentine model removed one of Dolores' favourite paintings from their Madrid home.

Ronaldo and Georgina became a thing in 2016 when the Portugal international plied his trade at Real Madrid.

The Argentine model moved in and stayed with Cristiano and his family in a villa in the "La Finca" neighbourhood of Madrid.

The journalist, who claimed to have followed the family, said that having moved, the Argentine-Spanish model started redecorating the house and, in the process, removed a painting that hung above the fireplace.

And not just removing the painting, but the painting was nowhere to be found. Martins said that Dolores was upset at Georgina over the disappearance.

Martins, who had last month said that the painting was nowhere to be found, returned on Spanish program "Noite das Estrelas" where he revealed on Thursday that the missing painting was kept in the garage, and this made Dolores upset.

"That painting was put in the garage. Dona Dolores was upset, and when she found out it was in the garage, she was furious. That house was under construction, and the painting disappeared. And now, what is above that fireplace is the portrait of our Gio [Georgina Rodríguez]."

"There is no healthy relationship between them, and this is the reality. There is no reason because they both dislike each other," he said.
