Director General of the Obi/Datti presidential campaign council, Akin Osuntokun, revealed why he won't advise Peter Obi to publicly talk about the alleged leaked tape between him and Bishop David Oyedepo.
Akin Osuntokun disclosed this in an interview with Arise News during the Prime Time program when Charles Aniagolu asked him whether we are going to see Peter Obi talking about the tape whether it is fake or not as he is doing on the program.
The Labour Party Chieftain, Akin Osuntokun responded that no he does not think that Peter Obi have to do that and that he won't even advise him to do that.
According to him, the reason is that the intended purpose of the tape is to cause distraction and that Peter Obi talking about it is him,
"Giving oxygen to the mischief"
"All through the campaign do you heard him in a slip of tongue refer to any near that, anything divisive of Nigeria? The first thing he will tell you is that, don't vote for me because I'm Igbo, don't vote for me because I'm a Christian...that's the standard line in his campaign rhetoric."
He then said that he will never advise him to talk about it, "For what, what purpose will it serve?"
