Chelsea eye PSV winger Noni Madueke

Chelsea are reportedly lining up a move for PSV Eindhoven's England under-21 winger Noni Madueke.

The Blues find themselves in the midst of a slump in form and are searching for fresh faces to bail their way out of it.

Defeat in Sunday's FA Cup tie at Manchester City has all-but ended any hopes of domestic silverware with Graham Potter's side languishing tenth in the table - 19 points adrift of leaders Arsenal.

The west London club are in search of attacking reinforcements after a poor goal scoring return so far this season.

Potter has been obliterated by injuries and the former Brighton boss hampered further when top scorer Raheem Sterling and Christian Pulisic limped out of Chelsea's 1-0 defeat to Manchester City last Thursday.

Chelsea are making moves in the transfer window and are close to sealing the loan signing of Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid.

The club have already sealed the signings of French defender Benoit Badiashile from Monaco, striker David Datro Fofana from Molde, while Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos also penned a deal.

But Chelsea are not done yet and according to The Times, are weighing up a move for the former Tottenham academy prospect before the end of the month.

Madueke spent four years at Spurs after a spell at Crystal Palace but departed for PSV in 2018.

He has gone on to establish himself in PSV's first team under Ruud van Nistelrooy, registering 19 goals in 77 games.

His progress has not gone unnoticed back home with the 20-year-old earning four caps for England U21s.
