UCL: It surprises us - Sergio Ramos opens up on Mbappe leaving PSG

Paris Saint-Germain defender, Sergio Ramos has reacted to the recent speculations linking Kylian Mbappe away from the club.

He said that the French striker is very happy at the club, adding that he hopes the striker will be at the club for years to come.

There are strong rumours suggesting that the 23-year-old World Cup winner wants to leave despite signing a new three-year deal with the French capital city club.

The rumours say that the former Monaco striker feels 'betrayed' by PSG as the promises made over his new contract have been broken.

But Ramos, who left Real Madrid to join PSG, has disputed the claims that Mbappe does not feel good and has dismissed the reports as rumours.

"The only thing I can tell you is that I am friends with Kylian; he is very happy here," the Spaniard told Canal+.

"I don't believe in rumours, we are focused on our work, we don't read the newspapers."

He added when speaking to ESPN: "The news around us even surprises us sometimes. I hope he will be here for many years."
