Tottenham have agreed a £25million deal to sign Yves Bissouma from Brighton.

Spurs look set to make their third summer signing after adding goalkeeper Fraser Forster and winger Ivan Perisic.

Manager Antonio Conte and managing director of football Fabio Paratici are conducting their transfer business with efficiency and it is unlikely the midfielder will be their last summer arrival.

The north London club were interested in signing the 25-year-old in January and have revived their interest.

He has 12 months left on his current deal at Brighton and talkSPORT understands a deal with Spurs has been agreed, with the Seagulls willing to cash in now rather than lose him on a free transfer when his contract expires.

It is also understood Tottenham do not expect personal terms to be an issue with the midfielder, who was previously a target for Liverpool, Arsenal and Aston Villa.

Tottenham finishing fourth and getting Champions League football will no doubt have helped their pursuit.

"I didn't go this summer, maybe its because it's not my time to go," Bissouma said back in September after staying at the south coast club.

"When my time will come, it's my time, but I'm happy in Brighton, I'm enjoying playing football.

"My dream is like every player, I want to play in the Champions League, I want to be champions. I want to compare myself on the top level, not just with other players."

It shows Tottenham mean business in this summer's transfer window after announcing a £150m cash injection to put towards signings.

Conte reportedly wants another four signings, including two defenders, a creative midfielder and a forward.

Deals for Everton's Brazilian star Richarlison and Christian Eriksen - a free agent after his short-term Brentford contract ended - have already been mooted.
