Ghana vs Nigeria: Ahmed Musa speaks on Black Stars never losing in Kumasi Stadium

Captain of the Super Eagles, Ahmed Musa, has said that playing inside the dreaded Babayara Stadium in Kumasi does not scare Super Eagles Players.

The venue will host the first leg of the 2022 World Cup playoffs between Ghana and Nigeria.

The game was initially billed for Cape Coast stadium. However, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) ensured it was moved due to the poor state of the pitch.

A lot of Ghanaians celebrated the decision, as they believed the Eagles, just like other teams, would not stand a chance.

Despite talks about the history attached to the stadium, Musa expressed his confidence that the three-time African champions have what it takes to secure a win.

"We have been hearing a lot of things. How they have not lost in that stadium (Babayara).

"If you remember the 2021 AFCON qualifiers when we played in Benin Republic, they told us they have not lost there. We went there and won.

"I believe we will go there and make history by winning in Kumasi," Musa said during Wednesday's press conference in Abuja.
