Ronaldo names four best players in football history, excludes himself

Ronaldo Nazário de Lima has named the four greatest footballers ever, excluding himself.

Ronaldo named Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo alongside fellow Brazil legend, Pele and Argentina hero Diego Maradona as the greatest footballers ever.

Ronaldo, now 45, who won the Ballon d'Or for two times, is widely considered as one of the best strikers football has ever produced.

Goal, quoted the former Real Madrid and Barcelona star as saying, "For me, in the classification of the best in history, the four names would be Pele, Maradona, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo."

"They are the top four in the history of football."

Lionel Messi recently won his seventh Ballon d'Or, being the first player ever to have won it more than five times while Cristiano Ronaldo has also claimed the individual award for five times.
