Klopp reacts as Liverpool face Arsenal twice in four days

Liverpool will host Arsenal twice in four days next week, after they booked their place in the Carabao Cup.

The Reds thrashed Lincoln City 7-2 on Thursday night.

Xherdan Shaqiri, Takumi Minamino, Curtis Jones, Marko Grujic and Divock Origi were all on the scoresheet for Jurgen Klopp's men.

Jorge Tayo Edun and Lewis Montsma netted consolation goals for the League One side.

Liverpool and Arsenal will meet in the Premier League on Monday night, before their next Carabao Cup contest and Klopp is glad both games will be played at Anfield.

"Thank God we have two home games. Sorry, Mikel. You have to come to Liverpool twice, It's not so bad.

"It will be tough. I'm not sure which cup competition we played Arsenal last year but that was a real rollercoaster as well. 5-5, a penalty shootout.

"I saw the Arsenal game against Leicester, they have a proper line-up, they want to win the competition," Klopp told Sky Sports.
