Real Madrid plot to land PSG want-away star who is wanted by Barcelona

Real Madrid are reportedly leading the chase to land Paris Saint Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot this summer.

The Frenchman has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona having refused to extend his stay with the Ligue 1 giants.

Rabiot's current deal with the Parisians is due to expire at the end of this season, and his decision has sparked up interest from a number of top European clubs.

SunSport quoting Spanish news outlet AS reports that the midfielder has agreed a deal to join Zinedine Zidane's side.

Until this recent development, Barcelona have been in pole position to land the Frenchman after months of talks between both parties.

The publication also reveal that Manchester United and Chelsea have equally shown interest in landing the want-away star.

However, the Blues might be a little restrained owing to their two window transfer ban placed on them by FIFA after being found wanting of breaching young players' movement.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are hoping they can sign the player having lost Aaron Ramsey to Juventus this summer.

Real Madrid boss, Zinedine Zidane is planning to ring changes to his team after their struggles in the outgoing season.

And Rabiot could now be set to compete with the likes of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric for a place in Real's midfield.
