Kepa Arrizabalaga attacks 1 Chelsea teammate after EFL Cup defeat against Man City

Kepa Arrizabalaga had a serious row with Maurizio Sarri after Chelsea's Carabao Cup final defeat against Manchester City

UK Sun has now also revealed that the Chelsea first choice goalkeeper also faced off with second choice Willy Caballero after the game as he said he is better than the Argentine.

Arrizabalaga reportedly told Willy Caballero in the dressing room that he was better than him at Wembley and that was why he refused to be substituted towards the end of the extra time.

According to the report by UK Sun, Kepa's comment made Caballero livid in the dressing room as they both engaged in serious argument.

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri had told Caballero that he would be going on for the shoot-out in a tactical switch before Arrizabalaga went down injured.

But to the surprise of many, the Spanish goalkeeper refused to leave the pitch thereby ignoring the instruction from the technical crew.

Chelsea went on to lose the encounter at Wembley against Manchester City and Kepa Arrizabalaga could face the consequence of what he did.

"It will be a decision for the good of the group. For the other players, all the players.

"He has to be ready. He made a mistake. A big mistake. There are some consequences.

"If the consequence is to play, he has to be ready to play. If the consequence is the bench, he has to be ready to go to the bench,'' Sarri explained according to the report.

Meanwhile, Chelsea will face Tottenham on Wednesday night, February 27, in a tough Premier League match at the Stamford Bridge.
