Man United planning to sign Juventus superstar as Pogba moves the other way

Manchester United are reportedly willing to allow Paul Pogba re-join Juventus this month in an exchange for Douglas Costa.

The Italian League giants were heavily linked with a move for the French star last summer but the deal failed to pull through.

Pogba would have dumped the club should former boss Jose Mourinho was still in charge with Barcelona among a host of clubs monitoring the situation.

SunSport quoting Italian news outlet Tuttosport, the Turin giants are pushing hard to land the 25-year-old midfielder, while Costa moves in the opposite direction.

Pogba has been in top form for United since the arrival of interim boss Ole Gunner Solskjaer with four goals in four games.

He was missing in his side's 2-0 win over Reading but should return to the club's starting line up against Spurs on Sunday after returning to fitness while at United's warm-weather training camp in Dubai this week.

United chiefs are undecided about Pogba leaving but the potential inclusion of the Brazilian winger as part of a deal could get them around the table for talks according to SunSport.

The club's executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is demanding at least £73 million but with Costa in the deal, the value might be reduced.

Pogba spent four years in his first reign in Turin after quitting United in 2012 and went on to win four Serie A titles and two Coppa Italia titles.

Costa, 28, has been a long-term target for United with reports a deal was in place for the winger before Mourinho's exit last month.
