Arsenal plotting a January transfer move for £11M rated Paraguay midfielder

Arsenal are reportedly lining up a January transfer move for £11 million rated Paraguay midfielder Miguel Almirón.
The 24-year-old currently features for the Major League Soccer side Atlanta United after joining them in 2017.
He has scored 12 goals and created 13 assists for his side in 26 appearances, and has attracted the attention of the new Gunners boss.

The Mirror reports that the former Paris Saint Germain boss has agreed a deal with the player in his quest to build a formidable team.

West Ham and Newcastle are other Premier League outfits looking out to sign the instrumental midfielder in the next transfer window.
Meanwhile, Atlanta president Darren Eales - formerly of Tottenham Hotspur - has confirmed Almiron will leave the American side.

"Almiron's future is already decided and will go to England in the European winter market ," said Eales.
Speaking in the summer about the prospect of moving to the Premier League, Almiron revealed his ambitions to succeed in the English top-flight.
"My objective has always been to go to Europe, " he said. " I like the Premier League and I think they play a beautiful and competitive style of soccer."
