Manchester United ready to pay massive £98m for Argentine superstar who plays in Italy

     For the past two seasons, the 25-year-old striker has been superb for Italian club Inter Milan scoring 53 goals.
And according to the report by Ole, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is ready to meet Inter Milan's asking price for the chance of luring the Argentine to Old Trafford.

     The ex Chelsea boss is trying to convince the United hierarchy to stump up the figure that would activate the release clause in his contract.

     Meanwhile, Mauro Icardi's current contract at Inter Milan will expire in the year 2021.
